I used to rule the world,
Seas would rise when I gave the word.
Now in the morning I sleep alone,
Sweep the streets I used to own.

“We Don’t Need Another Hero” → “Living Proof” ~
Two plausible explanations:
- The writers are extremely incompetent, or
- Jane is using “we” in a sincere manner. She wants Maura to have a baby and she wants to raise it with her; hence the “we” usage.
Seeing as these episodes were back-to-back and I don’t believe the writers are that stupid, I think Jane is a huge lesbian that wants to have gaybies with Maura. I mean, look at her face.
I think that Jane simply hates all of Maura’s boyfriends because she is jealous and finds the silliest things to complain about, because she needs an excuse to hate them without acknowledging her feelings for Maura. It doesn’t matter if she does those stuff herself, she needs something to hate about them, so she finds something silly (or big) and bitches about it until her face turns blue, and then keeps going.
Ah, love, jealousy and denial is a complicated cocktail of emotions, no wonder Jane is so cranky.
